A native of Southern California, Tom Keel has been a freelance trombonist in Los Angeles for over a decade. Conductors under whom he has performed include David Newman, Carl St. Clair, and Bruce Broughton....He has recorded for greatest hits collection for both David Rose and The Platters, as well as the War album Revolutionary. In concert he has performed with the Bakersfield Symphony, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and Fitz and the Tantrums at the Greek Theatre. He has a Masters in Trombone Performance from the University of Southern California. Staying there he also earned the Graduate Certificate in Performance. For the Bachelors degree in performance, he attended CSU, Northridge.
